I Have been having issues with my Limewire p2p file sharing service working on Vista, Limewire would not load properly and It would say that it's behind a firewall.
I Disabled my McAFee Virus scanners firewall, my Windows Firewall and my router firewall, but still said it's behind a Firewall.
Now Limewire will even Hyjack your Internet connection, you'll have to restart your PC or Disable then Enable your connection to fix this Hyjack.
To Fix this and to allow Limewire to connect, you'll need to un-install McAfee completely, Because McAfee has issues with Vista, Like a married couple if you will :).
You can replace McAfee with a Awesome FREE Virus scanner called: Avast, do a search for it and download it, I Downloaded it from: download.com

I like my AVG, but to each his own. Either way it's free, so whatever floats your boat.
I'm not fond of the big names in anti-virus. Norton is a pain, it slows machines way down, and is normally the worst at catching viruses(Partly because it is the most popular, so any viruses it can't catch are going to be the most common). | |
