I honestly can't even log on for more than 5 minutes lately before I am striken with sudden boredom and a feeling of a lost purpose...
Right now my character sits a bar from level 64, 200 gold, epic mount, nice gear and a decent guild for instances... but I lack any interest in actually playing.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the spring and my new passion for filming. I'm even more inspired to play a pokemon pearl rom that won't save and work on BYOND games than I am to play.
This happen to anyone else? I'm probably going to cancel my subscription for a little while and persue my ammature filming with friends and stuff.

heh yeah, ive taken 1-3 week breaks from wow before.
Just make sure you are in an inn or capitol city so u can aquire a fat rest bonus =P | |
I feel this way after playing MMOs for a very short time -- usually just a few weeks. If there isn't something seriously interesting, I just feel lost and unimportant. It's been a long time since an MMO has surprised me or shown me something I hadn't expected. WOW was no exception.

this happens to me in every mmo i play. i end up quitting and never going back. let the rest of your month sub go by and then cancel it before its time to pay again if you still feel like that.

Yeah, I just recently came back to a level 45 Dwarf Hunter, got to level 56, and got bored again. :\
I probably won't play again til I really feel like playing again, and when I do I'll just pick up a gamer card from the Best Buy by school. | |
Once in a while, I get the urge to play a game I got bored of a year or more a go. I satisfy the urge and don't touch the game for another year or so.

I used to have to take breaks to prevent burning out on WoW, but then I got friends. ;p
Seriously though, if you have close friends on WoW all the time it's the real reason you play; the game's great quality and tremendous timesink capability is what makes it better than others. If you want to enjoy WoW more, get friends to play too! By the way, nice CSS, hehe. nerf fear :( | |
