I have a question for you, BYOND. What are your views on internet wars? I'm wondering this because one has been going on for about 4-5 days now between Subeta and two, possibly 3, of the 4 chans.

The war started when Longcat(a image of a long cat posted on 2chan, made popular by 4chan) was taken from 4chan by Subeta and given out as a rare item. Longcat to 4chan is what treasure is to a pirate. At first, people asked kindly to take down longcat, only to be banned by the sites owner, Keith, claiming them to be trolls and spammers. This enraged the entire 4chan community, so they began launching wGet applications and running what they call vampraep sites, which downloads images or something from the site, raising the bandwidth cost of the site.
They asked again, only to be mocked and banned again. 420chan then discovered comments in the main pages source and register while looking for security holes, mocking them. I took a look for myself, it said something along the lines of,
"Sup /b/, /i/
Long cat has a livejournal! Why don't you check it out? ;)

On that site, it made their precious longcat look gay, literally. It claimed that Longcat(which is considered male) and Fatcat(Also male) "went to the beach and, well -blush-."
So anyways, Keith then did a DDoS attack on 420chan, which really got them riled up, especially after Keith denies he, nor his staff, did any kind of DDoS attack, even though 420chan has several MBs of proof that they were DDoSed by Subetas servers. So, they start taking down the fansites of Subeta with vamp raep and wGets.
Many of the players of Subeta have since asked for Keith to take down longcat, and even some of the admins have quit Subeta, saying that this is too much hassle for them, yet Keith continues to mock them, even though he has had phone calls, emails, letters and everything sent to him asking/begging/threating him to take longcat down. So, what do you think, BYOND?
