8% (2)Lately I have been playing the game, Super Mario War, a lot. I use to play it back in 2004 but then for no reason I stopped until a couple of weeks ago I found out that the creators of the game made it for the PSP also. You can download your copy of it here while I talk about it. Super Mario War is a Super Mario multiplayer game. The goal is to stomp as many other Marios as possible to win the game.
It's a tribute to Nintendo and the game Mario War by Samuele Poletto. If you do not have a PSP you can also play it for many other systems such as a Nintendo DS, PC, Mac, and more. (The source code is also avaliable) What the best part is that you can edit the graphics to what ever you want and you can also create your own maps. It is fun being Sonic while stomping on Peach's head. I do not think version 1.7 comes with a map maker though but if enough people show interest I will put up the 1.6 map maker download that I have.
So far I probally have came up with 100 maps and I still have a lot more in my head so as time goes by I will post them for download. Version 1.8 is on its way and someone has made a mod named, Super Mario War Net Play, though it is for download but it is a little buggy. If you have any questions feel free to post.

Very fun game, I like to have the ability to change to characters such as Excite Bike, Kirby, Knuckles, etc. I am downloading the net play right now... Anyway, a good game. Whoever is thinking of not downloading it, go get it. It is a lot better than I expected.
