I despise Macs

Mac is Horrible OS. If you aren't sure what to buy, windows, mac, or linux. If your looking for a basic home OS, get Windows XP. Mac SUCKS and linux is not very user friendly when it comes to just using it for home activities from what I hear from my linux using friends. OH god the mac mouse is horrible, it's one big button. You have to push the whole mouse down. An example of why this is horrible is 1.It hurts your hand after awhile, I couldn't take it when I tried it. 2.If you accidently rest your hand on the mouse which I do alot since I am on my computer for large ammounts of time, and your cursor is over say...the shut down button or even a folder you didn't want to open you'll accidently click it anyway! It's horrible! There is no right click so you can't right click anything and perform an action unless you get a two button mouse but most mac users have one button mice. Here, I have some videos and web sites you'll all find funny. =P The worst thing is, Mac users think that the Mac is better than the PC in every way! I think the best mac users can do is play mine sweeper when it comes to gaming, and the PC beats it in many categorys. Have you ever tried modding the Mac GUI? Did you know every mac web site but the main web site is hosted on a Windows server?

I must deter, Mac OS X is much more secure with it's Darwin Unix shell compared to the easily exploitable and horrific Win32 (and now Win64, ahem, following Mac OS X and *nix). OS X is basically Linux/FreeBSD with pretty graphics. And since when was Linux only good for hosting? Linux is good for *! Heh, well your opinion is fair I guess, in your judgement.
My apologies, GoodDoggyTreat; I tried a Mac for 3 weeks during a daily 4 hour class I took--with nice, top-top-of-the-line, Mac OS X desktops--and I'll admit, they looked *very* nice and I thought by the end I might actually have some respect for them, but even after 3 weeks of heavy usage, neither I nor my classmates came away with a good impression.

This may have had to do with the fact that we spent much of our time downloading and playing games--we had horrible luck with both the downloading and the playing. I realize that OS X does have several advantages like security, but we all (including some of the Mac-experienced) found it difficult to do the things we wanted.

We did have two-button mice, but they were back-ups; the single-buttons were predominant. The funniest thing about your Minesweeper comment, InuTracy, is that you're actually supposed to use the right mouse button to place flags =/

Lol. That made me giggle.
Heheh, well if you're using a G3. G5s I find hold out very well!
I'm glad you brought this up - it's an important fact that everyone needs to know. Can you believe that 2% of people still don't know how terrible MAC is? We must continue to spread the word!

MAC is a great big pile of useless junk. You can always tell the quality of an operating system by the number of mouse buttons it supports. MAC, supporting only one mouse button, is second worst only to Lunix. Lunix only has text mode, so it doesn't support any mouse buttons at all! What a piece of garbage. I heard that Longhorn is supposed to support 18 mouse buttons. Need I say more?

And don't get me started on how much those stupid things cost. The cheapest one is over $2,000 and it doesn't even come with a monitor, keyboard, or anything! Not only that, but it uses outdated and proprietary components. Everything for MAC, like memory, hard drives, etc, costs 3 to 5 times more than the PC equivalent. You can only buy them directly from MAC. And they're way slower! My 3 year old PC, that I put together for under $300, runs circles around the top of the line MAC.

Besides, if MAC were any good, we would have a real BYOND version for it by now.

:)
Exactly. ;) In any case, once I saw Yoshi from Tech Tv may they rest in peice build a card board computer. The whole thing was cardboard even the mouse, keyboard, and buttons on the computer. Yoshi is the ultimate modder. As I said, try doing that with a mac. ;)

Yeah, against a steam roller. Thoes things are pretty sturdy!
...Goddammit Tracy. WHY DO YOU HATE EVERYONE WHO LIKES WHAT YOU HATE?
