I needed to have a legit C# program as an example, so I decided to make a Scorched Earth clone:

I still have to impliment the game handler, physics, and networking before I can make an alpha release.

I have been disappointed with all of the other Scorched Earth clones I have seen (even the 3D one) so hopefully I can make one as good or better than the classic.

Awsome. Good stuff. I loved playing scorched earth. A shame it doesn't run well on modern computers :P.
Exactly. The classic version can't run well on modern computers, and all of the clones out haven't recreated the experience of the original.
Physics and networking take a looong time. :-(
Actually physics is going to be the easiest part of this game.

As for networking, I've never done it before so I don't know, but it can't be too hard, at least for this turn-based game.
Well, proper physics takes a while. I guess you could get away with less for Scorched Earth.

Famous last words. ;-)

No, it's not that hard, but it is time-consuming.
Heh, i cheat my physics in every game I make. If you ever looked at my Racing Engine for BYOND, I made up a whole slew of new words to define physics-that-don't-actually-exist-but-look-like-other-physic s >_>
