Servers

  • Added server configuration settings, they can be found in the config folder. Round and lobby timers can be adjusted
  • Made some improvements to error logging

Localization

  • Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional) and Italian translations have been added, although I did some more content after they were done, so they're a bit out-of-date.
  • Removed the need for the languages.json file, so localization is simpler
  • Fixed an issue where job pages weren't being localized
  • Fixed an issue where language selection wasn't saving properly to the player's config settings, meaning the language would always default to English when the game was started and when connecting to a new server.

Mechanics

  • Completed the mechanics for all but 2 cards
  • Added human waste, created by sitting on a vessel
  • Added status effects to the game: cuts, burns, infections, and doom. They currently have no mechanical bearing and are purely visual
  • Added in the fire system (keep an eye on your hearths!)
  • Hearths and the forge now throw out sparks periodically. They can be put out by walking over them. They will grow into full-on fires if left alone for too long.
  • Added in salves, tea, and bandages to the game, which are ways to address certain status effects
  • Fixed an issue with the chat input not closing properly
  • Fixed an issue with items that were stuck to a mob after being thrown at them were lost when the mob died
  • Peasant is now a selectable job
  • If a player joins the game after a round has begun, they are now assigned to the role of Peasant and dealt cards for their role

Audio / Visual

  • Improved the animation for projectiles to be more pixel-precise
  • Vessels now take on the name of their contents
  • Did some polishing to the main menu screen and swapping between the menus
  • Added page turning to the book
  • Added in the animated mug to the job selection screen
  • Fixed an issue with item names drawing below items and props

The Town

  • Made the inn slightly smaller
  • Added a peasant spawn to the center of the village
