The promised release of 516.1659 went out on Monday, which has stabilized a lot of issues. There still appear to be a couple of weird lingering issues with byondexe that I need to look into, and I have a reported issue with world.Export() that needs looking into when I can find a decent head space and amount of time to concentrate on it.
In the meantime though I've been plowing forward with 517 updates, because I didn't want to let that get buried under bug-fix mode. I've been trying to figure out some headscratchers related to the new sliding code, and I think I've dealt with many of them properly except for one. Of course, that's all going to need testing, and to do that I need to start hooking up new proc support.
I did however take a little bit of time this week to get out of the house while the weather was good. Especially after having another friggin' tornado warning during the weekend, and our having some unseasonably decent weather after that, a little break was called for. But there was also some business-side stuff to deal with that took up some time, so development has been far from a solid block this week. And the big home project I wanted to get to today, I didn't. I expect the next few weeks to have a few ups and downs in the scheduling, but then what week doesn't?
Thank you so much to all of the BYOND Members, and the regular subscribers on Patreon and SubscribeStar, who make this work possible. For those who haven't joined their esteemed ranks yet, please do; it's cheaper than DoorDash and it distracts me from taking over the world.
Anyway, it's officially spring now, which is why there's gonna be a little snow this weekend. Since it's spring, it's time to dust off your old code and polish it up to make use of all the shiny new features. Mak gam! I'll be back next week.
