Having a server shared storage option is nice, but it also causes a few issues. And as it's likely unlikely that the json file will be replaced by a client side database, it would be heavily preferred if we could sub scope the byond hub storage files.
For example, giving us an option for a world parameter (if possible) which allows us to set out own "file name" for the json, so that we can still have cross server storages but keep the file size contained in a smaller circle than having it shared with the entire hub.
Currently having for example on ss13 multiple servers use the same file with different keys leads to large file sizes and long read / writes times as well as large summed writes.
The ideal solution would be a client side database that replaces indexed db properly though.
