what most of the games need is more strategy and less button mashing macro madness, to have to be able to set up say a certain, mmm offensive and defensive attack that works with a certain style to give a boost on your character and working to get that by say collecting items which other people will be setting out to get at the same time, i think that would actually get people pretty fired up and stuff like that would probably be better then just training and training
