I am attempting to recover a nearly 20 year old account and the form on the website says it's down, and to check back in a few hours. But it's been several days.
I emailed support directly, but I read that they don't reply often, or at all.
I joined the Discord and the mods advised me to create a burner account and try the forums.
I've tried everything to recover the account, so I would greatly appreciate some help or any advice going forward.
The account is Mako Ruu. I was one of the original developers for Dragon Ball Finale. I made sprites and icons, and environments. My friends and I are feeling nostalgic, and want to play for a bit again.
I contacted support via [email protected]
Thank you for your time and any help. I can answer any questions.

I would also provide the email you used to contact support in the OP as well.

They just have to be extra careful with dealing with accounts bro because an account is supposed to be a private and secure asset.
Is [email protected] the original email your account was made from, and if not, was [email protected] used for the account at any point in time? It would go a long way if you knew the original email the account was made with. It's a difficult one but the more info you can provide the better. The site admins make the final call ultimately, but of course be patient with them and remember they're here to help. |

Yes, it was the original.
When I tried to recover my account, it said that it was locked due to inactivity. But the form to fill out to get reactivated is not available on the page it gives you. It says check back in a few hours, but it never changes. I have also learned that only a single person is running all of Byond. So it is going to take a long time to get any help. |
