Descriptive Problem Summary:
There's been a long-standing issue that has presented itself in a number of projects. I don't know the exact cause, but I've been able to isolate a reproducible example of the issue occuring, which I DM'd ya (won't be posting because it's the source code for kinfolk). I haven't been able to reproduce this in a smaller test case, and neither has Ter, but this at least provides a consistent occurence of the issue, which is hopefully enough to get the ball rolling in tracking down the cause.
The issue is that Render is taking much longer than expected, even with very minimal use of visual effects, and only 1005 icons being drawn, which is "not that much". The issue occurs even with no change to any code related to rendering on the server, indicating that this is a rendering issue, not a super-leet-dmcode related issue.
Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
You can run test project, hold shift (you'll move faster so it's easier to see) and just run back and forth. It occurs anywhere and happens every 20 seconds or so, lasts for 10ish seconds each time.

Workarounds:
ignore the fps drops and pretend that the world isn't fast approaching levels of civil unrest that teeter on the precipice of world-changing events caused at least in part by my own shitty code
