I ended up taking Monday off, and Tuesday was kinda rough after a lousy night's sleep, so it's been one of those weeks. Mostly I've focused on server stuff because if I can at all avoid paying for 7 months of two servers, I need to do it. But I'm also very very rapidly approaching the deadline, because realistically that deadline is Wednesday of next week. So it's touch and go, and probably more go than touch to be honest. I don't see how I can manage this in such a short time.

On the server front, I was finally able to get a script working that had been causing me trouble, only to discover that the tool it's calling is the wrong version. I can't be bothered to try to sync up the right version and pray that it works, so screw it. I found another way and I'm trying that out instead, and we'll see how it goes. Initial tests are coming along well.

In software land, I've been sprucing up some 516 stuff and also worked on some overdue Byondapi stuff for 516 that was on the table. Mostly that's been done in between server tasks. I've dealt with some bug fixes as well, including some bug investigations behind the scenes that don't have official reports yet or are in 516 and wouldn't have an official report. So a lot of stuff has been going on beneath the surface that doesn't show, but it's still been productive.

Thank you to all the BYOND Members and regular supporters who keep the lights on. I'm working hard on what's next! 516's beta was more delayed than I anticipated, but on the bright side the beta should be pretty short.

Next week is a short week with the holiday. Sometime soon I have to get going on recoloring my Christmas lights, which I haven't had time to do. And I have to un-bury all the Christmas CDs. Tree time is coming, so get ready.
