To preface I have had no issues with BYOND on my PC (Windows 10) for months but I decided to download it on my laptop as well (Windows 11), but every time I try to launch it I just get 0xc000007b error.
I have tried everything from reinstalling, updating the DirectX End-User Runtimes, VC Redistributable x64 and x86, sfc scannow, numerous fixes mentioned in this forum and the Microsoft forums as well, running it as administrator but the error persists despite everything.
Any help if anyone has faced this issue before would be greatly appreciated!

The error means something isn't installed correctly. You can use Dependency Check to see if there's a specific .dll causing the problem. That should give us more information.

I also have the 0xc000007b error.
How does the dependency check work? I downloaded it and unzipped it but I have no idea on how to check BYOND. I couldn't find any clear instructions online on how to do it so if you know how could you tell me how to exactly check BYOND? |
