Hello, I am currently having a BYOND issue. On any game, after about ten minutes, the connection cuts me off. This only happens if I'm idle and not doing anything at the moment (Talking, moving, clicking). I've looked it up and found a similar topic, and there they were told to reinstall their BYOND. I've tried this twice, and it hasn't worked. I don't use a firewall, and even if I did BYOND is an exception on it. Whatever should I do to fix this problem? It's very annoying.

PS:

I'm using a Wireless Router.
I have tried with several different keys.

And on a side note; I am not being disconnected if I'm the one hosting the server. Perhaps this really is a problem with my Router?

Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001)
I'm using Acer, if that helps any.

Video Graphics Card:
Name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500 Series
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Chip Type: Radeon Graphics Processor (0x9553)
DAC Type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Approx. Total Memory: 1850 MB
Current Display Mode: 1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor: Standard PnP-Screen ( I had to translate this one with my own words, so the wording may not be exact. )

Game Hub/Link: This problem occurs on every BYOND game I've been on.

Internet Connection Type: I'm using a wireless router, "Level One". On their website, they tell me my connection is DHCP.

Firewalls/Router: Level One, Wireless Router.

Problem Description: I'm being disconnected, and whenever I try to move/click/talk on the game, I get the message "Connection Failed". However, even before I get that message I logged out to others, only not knowing I was disconnected myself. ( Basically, I'm disconnected without me knowing. Then when I try to move/talk/click I find out. Then, and only then do I find out - while others have already seen me log out 10 minutes ago. )
As for when... I don't know, probably a week ago or something. Right after I reset my router, this problem has been bugging me.

Steps to Reproduce Problem: Get on any game, and stay idle for 5-15 minutes. (I'm not exactly sure on the time, since I never know when I'm booted until I try moving/talking/clicking.)

As for extra information...

If I'm the one hosting the game, this problem never occurs.
I've tried with several keys and it all had the same problem.

------------

You probably won't be able to help me as I suspect this is a problem with my router. I don't really know much about them, but I'm going to try and fix it if you really can't help me at all. I promise, if I find a solution to this problem, I will post it here as good as I can.

It would seem that your computer is dropping the internet connection. Either the router has a default inactivity timeout, or more likely, your wireless connection is going haywire.

Well, it only happens on BYOND... I'm not sure, I'll check for any inactivity timeouts. Thank you in advance.

When you say 'it only happens on BYOND', what are the other things we're talking about here?
On-line Ego shooters or browsing the web?
