A host of my game decided to ban me for getting ready to fire him, and now I have no power to shut his server down, or ban him ingame, so I am wondering if anyone can help me with this problem by giving me a few suggestion, and obviously I know to reprimand hosts before it gets out of hand. But what can Byond do to help, if anything at all?

The BYOND Staff does not have the will nor power to help you out. It is each user's personal choice who they want in their game, and who they want out. Your best bet would be to try to contact the game host and ask to be unbanned. For BYOND's official stance on the subject, please read I'm being spammed by a user. Or, a user has banned me from his game for no reason. Help!
You could however learn to prevent such cases in the future, as DM provides means to ensure a host can not ban you without altering the bytecode (or RAM, depending on implementation and skill).
You might want to consult the reference and Developers forum about this topic.
