Unsurprisingly, having a holiday crash into the middle of the week threw a lot of stuff out of whack, but everything is trudging forward.
The promised release for 515.1641 went out earlier this week. That was way overdue with the sheer number of fixes involved, but it looks like there are still some minor issues worth investigating for further maintenance. So of course that will continue. I'd still like to see if I can work on a filter feature that was proposed, and get it into 515 while 516 is cooking.
Over in 516 things have been progressing well still. I've learned there's apparently an issue on reboot that needs to be looked at, and access has been expanded to more testers. While I'm waiting on the longer-term project that's holding up the beta, I'll keep on feature ideas to see how far I can push this. It's a sign of how broken-up this week was that I don't really have a lot else to say on that, but there's more coming.
I'm also working ahead on some movement overhaul stuff that I don't expect to go into 516, but at this point I won't rule it out. I'm hoping to jettison a lot of old logic for slides that frankly sucks, and replace it with new, more readable logic that doesn't. That might be a transition worth making sooner rather than later.
All of the BYOND Members and other regular donors who keep this project going are appreciated more than I can say. Thank you so much for your continued support.
Next week the long project can spin back up, having had to stand aside because of the schedule disruptions; but I don't expect it to get more seriously in the way until later. Until then, it's still full steam ahead on everything else. I'll be back next week.

Adding icons to maptext is already doable. You don't need to wait for 516 for that.
