Things have been moving forward for the stable build and the alpha, but to say this week has been short is an understatement. It's been shortened further by short sleep and dealing with a cable fiasco that, in the end, turned out to mostly be a result of poor communication on their end. So I get to keep my DVR, but boy were the last couple of days hectic.

The main change upcoming for 515 is a fix to a new issue with Topic() calls not working correctly, although I can't for the life of me figure out how they broke. Actually multiple bugs seem to have stemmed from the same change in 515.1638, but one of them made no sense at all because the logic governing it has always been the way it is. Anyway I have a fix for all that, and I would've gotten it out yesterday if not for those meddling everything elses. Looks like Monday is the likely target.

For 516, I've continued tying up loose ends with the new functionality and finishing documentation, although I have hit one small snag I'm going to have to wrestle with. But a new alpha release should be good to go after the next 515 build drops, I think. And we're getting very close to moving that into beta.

However, I may have to detour from all of that for a bit and deal with another project that's looming, so the next few weeks are looking incredibly uncertain in terms of a development schedule. We'll see what comes up, I guess.

Thank you to all of you who've contributed to BYOND this month. I couldn't do any of this without you and I'm incredibly grateful.

It's looking like June is gonna be a roller coaster, but hopefully the good kind where everyone steps off the ride alive. Keep the suggestions coming, and mak gam.
