G'day Meroosh.

When asking for help, all the people who can help you know is what you tell them. The less specific the information, the less we can help you.

Please tell me:
  • Your Operating System and Service Pack Number (if Windows)
  • What version of BYOND you're trying to use (Exact build number)
  • Are you using any firewalls?
  • Your Internet Website Browser
  • Are you installing BYOND as an administrator?
  • Do any error messages come up
  • Any methods you've tried yourself to resolve the issue

With that we might be able to at least ascertain what the error is. Then we'll go from there.

Also, I'll need to know what "The Window" you mention is. Is it the pager? Options and Messages (if 4.*)?
In response to Tiberath
Im not sure if thats the problem he got but:
when i enter byond the pager goes up and works fine
then when i tried to enter naruto goa it said in the option and messages window it said conected, but it didnt enter the game...

so i tried to enter another game (castle, i chose it because it works with the byond ver.3) so i used the 3.* version and it worked and it worked with version 4.12 too

so i think the problem is maybe with games that work on the byond 4.12 version (i tried to enter R.E.O 2 and it didnt work, same error: byond central is not accissible...)

Operating System:
microsoft windows XP Professional version 2002

Service Pack Number:
service pack 2

Version of BYOND:
4.12

Are you using any firewalls:
Yes.

Internet Website Browser:
Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser.

Are you installing BYOND as an administrator:
Yep (only one user in the computer).

Do any error messages come up:
Yes-BYOND Central is not accessible.

Any methods you've tried yourself to resolve the issue:
nope.

please check the problem, btw:
there was already a problem with byond central is not accissble and every one posted it on the forum so it might help you find the problem.
Good Luck XD!

Naruto GOA uses Alpha Transparency in it's icons I imagine. Couple that with the fact some computers dislike Hardware Rendering and I already have the reason you couldn't enter Naruto in 4.0.

I assume the bug didn't take place in Castle because it's so old, it doesn't use any 4.0 enabled features. Thus there's nothing to interrupt your connection.

To enter Naruto GOA, when Options and Messages shows up, click on the client menu, select Preferences and uncheck the third checkbox down. Then OK the changes and reconnect to the game. That should solve your problem there.

Also, when I was having such difficulties, I noted it was possible to re-enable Hardware Rendering once I was in game, and continue to play it without problem.

Okay, when Options and Messages appears, Click on the Client menu, select Preferences, and when that comes up, uncheck the third checkbox down. Press OK and reconnect to the server.

Tell me if that works?

Well, if turning off hardware rendering didn't work. The next thing is to see if the next BYOND Update has fixed your issue somehow.

So download the install package I linked earlier. Uninstall BYOND and install BYOND using the package I linked to earlier.

It's still the same

Sorry Tiberath if I mix up in here, but I have a vague guess what might be wrong ;)

Since you stated to recive the error message "Byond Central is not accecibale", are you sure that your pager can connect through your Firewall?

Do you know how to set up a TCP/UDP Port on your firewall?
And do you use a Router?

Maybe this little topic in the BYOND help section can assist you ( http://www.byond.com/members/ BYONDHelp?command=view_post&post=29746 )?

Now I get this error :

I tried some games and brought one for example

Logging in...connected
Connecting to byond://69.225.250.112:53605............connected
BYOND Hub: connection failed.
Your network connection is not working or the hub server is down.
You cannot login at this time. (Consult BYOND Help for more information.)
Connection closed.
Connection failed
In response to Meroosh
I could connect both to the Hub as well as to the game.

But I think the Error message...

"BYOND Hub: connection failed.
Your network connection is not working or the hub server is down.
You cannot login at this time."

..is rather clear.

You can not log in, as you can not "log in on BYOND".
What kind of internet connection are you using?
Did you try at several times and always got this error?
Where do you live (Country or side of the world would be enough ;))
In response to Schnitzelnagler
I'm having this same issue, It seems like I have a weak connection or something because I can connect sometimes and other times I can't, Even the Hub is slowing down, but my internet is fine. It started yesterday...

It was quite random, I was having no issues at all for quite some time and now I can't join anything.

What version of BYOND you're trying to use: 4.0
Are you using any firewalls?: Yes
Your Internet Website Browser: Firefox
Are you installing BYOND as an administrator?: Yes
Do any error messages come up: No, i see only: Logged in as Djonne [Offline] and BYOND Central is not accessible.BYOND Central is not accessible.
Any methods you've tried yourself to resolve the issue: Nope. :/
In response to Chaos Black
The problem could be in your routing to the HUB.
If one of the servers between you and the HUB is in "bad trouble", there can be such results.
Where do you live (country) and about what time does this problem arise?
Did you ever try to ping the HUB server manually in a DOS shell while you experienced this trouble?
In response to Djonne
Earlier today I could not connect to the HUB eiher, yet now it works fine with me.
Maybe there was a short downtime or one of the routers infront of the HUB had trouble.
Does it work for you now, or do you still experience trouble?

If you still have trouble, what happens when you try to log in with a random other key (mine) without knowing the correct password and then try to log on your key again?
In response to Schnitzelnagler
I seem to be fine now, odd, though for the record, I live in Colorado
