Currently, if you have a .dmi file in a folder outside of any environment, and click on it, it will open Dream Maker and load this .dmi file in as an external file. This is nice, as you don't have to build the whole tree, and Dream Maker is a pretty damn good spriting tool. Sadly, if you just open Dream Maker by itself, you cannot make new files or open files without an environment. It would be nice if you could just click New and make an external icon file to edit (or Open to look through your PC for one).
