Making the map bigger is pointless, people hardly explore the entire map now anyway. There are enough CP's. The same can be said for guns, the only thing he could do is re add the rocket launcher, and maybe add a flamethrower. That could be fun.

Well, it would be kinda more fun. It makes more difficult to capture all the bases, and more realistic. Where is the TV station? Why TVs are working? Why citizens come from somewhere else? Maybe, bigger map would kinda answer these questions. :D
I can explore the entire map with partner. New types of zombies? After all, thats a pretty good idea. And it makes game better. New TV show? XD |

I'd have to agree with Rushnut on the area of the map is big enough. You may not realize this, but there are open ends on the east side of the map, that lead to an entire open area. There are a few houses, and two ammo suppliers with a few swats and what look like cinder blocks to defend them. This area really doesn't have much of a use because zombies rarely go that way.
Otherwise, I would say adding more CP's would be a great idea, but add in logical CP's that would actually help game play, and add to the map. School could be interesting, for example, but what use would it actually have? A stadium or space ship station would seem unlikely too, unless the space ship station was to evacuate survivors to a station in orbit, which would add another aspect to the game that might be interesting, but I think a bit hard to incorporate. Anyway, here is the basic suggestion I have for adding CP's: 1. Power Plant: Convert the island into a power plant. The river would flow towards it making a dam. That would then be where the power would be supplied from. If this CP was lost, then the lights, TV's, train, ect in the city wouldn't work until it was recaptured. 2. Dam: Make a heavily defended bridge leading to the power plant, this would be first line of defense. 3. Southern Bridge: A bridge that would basically lead from Mall Mart to the church. With swimming out, this has become a lot less accessible. It could be put in the place above the docks, where it looks like a bridge was washed out by the river. As for map expansion, it would be nice if the unused portion of map was used for something. Perhaps a few CP's over there that would be for certain colony stats. Residential housing area (this would have to be maintained for the population of your colony, if you don't have this CP, no civilians spawn to be trained each day, and your population won't be able to increase), and a farm so that food can be supplied to the colony in more ways that just getting apples (If a farm was implemented, perhaps it should be made up of several CP's and a main one, to affect overall food production for the colony). I was also thinking that more than one civilian could spawn a day, maybe one civilian per 100 people. You would get one civilian a day from 0-100 people, and from 101-201 colony, you would spawn two, and so on and so forth. Also, CP's on this area of the map should have less zombie spawn areas, and not be affected by night raids. This way the colony won't totally fall apart depending on the number of players on. Lastly, weapons. The weapons themselves aren't bad, but there is a bit of a lack of variety. All guns of the same class pretty much just max at different levels with the same stats. Changing some of the guns around so that there stats would be different could change some playing styles. As for new weapons, I like the flamethrower, and tweaking the RL to be a bit more worthwhile, while not overpowered would be nice as well. I was also thinking that a rail gun could be a good addition. It would fire regular ammo that could be resupplied, but run out of battery power after a while, and have to be recharged at a station. This would balance out the fact that it would be a high powered weapon. |

Dam? Good idea. But it can be like this:
1. School. It is still working, so you may find some civilains in there. There is a little cafe inside of it, toilet and a desk. When you use desk, fun decreases, but exp SLOWLY increases. 2. TV station. Some civilains, and when you get near the camera, fun becomes 100% for few seconds, and doesnt low. 3. Stadium. Has one super strong zombie, which is hardly to defeat, but it drops some food/an item when defeated. It may be the one Falacy talked about - totally slow and totally strong, and has LOTS of HP. 4. Space station. Civilains. You can buy some new types of food\items in it. Your idea is pretty good to. Maybe, some apple trees near it. Thats all. Pretty many ideas. |

That gave me a good idea, have a TV station that when taken all the TVs become static, then to complement this, the TV's can have a few different channels which show information on tham. I.e a channel showing exactly how long untill the next time section, and a channel showing an arrow towards the nearest player, or where the Zombies are going to attack that night.

Falacy, everyone need more CPs and bigger map! Something like school and stadium, or maybe spaceship station... and dont forget about updates in the other forums. And realize your ideas to! They are awesome.
P.S. Does/did anybody have any ideas about making map bigger and new CPs? Post it here, please, because nobody can (read: wants) to search for them, because this takes much time, etc.
