It would be nice if the map editor had limited automapping functionality that we could define for each atom. This way for instance, we could have walls or floor tiles automatically change their appearance based on other atoms of the same type that are in proximity and that would display in the map editor, rather than at runtime.
For reference, in Tiled, this feature uses custom defined rulesets that allow designers to then hit an 'Automap' button that configures all of their tiles appearances to the right state automagically.
