It seems like this week went by crazy fast. I didn't put out a release, but I've been busily smacking away at bug reports and especially working on some upcoming feature goodness.

On a lot of fronts it's felt pretty quiet this week, so I haven't had any recent news good or bad about the alpha beyond what's already out there. There's still a need to come up with some kind of improved local storage system to replace IndexedDB which some SS13 servers were using, because Microsoft screwed up IE's implementation in determining what counts as "local" and some setups were relying on the buggy behavior. I don't think this is a showstopper for 516 by any stretch, but I'd like to find a way for these codebases to have something similar.

Last week I discussed a new feature for 516 for handling filters, and I did something similar this week with animations. That was a bit of a headache to manage, and although I wanted to spring it on the alpha testers as a surprise, I had to let the cat out of the bag early to get some feedback on development choices. Suffice it to say, if you haven't heard about it yet: It's good. Real good.

To all the BYOND Members and other regular supporters who keep things running around here, thank you all so much.

Hopefully sometime next week it will stop raining for a minute, and hopefully even if it does rain it won't be radioactive. No zoo weather yet.
