This is really getting on my nerves. I rented a book from my library, and it included a CD with a trial of Milkshape 3D on it, along with other things. Now I should have been smarter than to use it when it was a burned CD, but I did any ways.

Next thing I know, in less than 2 minutes I literally have hundreds of Trojans and Worms on my computer. I got rid of them easily, though.
Except for one thing - These damned pop up ads.
I've scanned my computer several times with everything I can think of - ZoneAlarm, AVG, SpyDoctor, but I can't find the damned thing.
I keep getting ads from some google-wannabe ad place, dxcdirect.com
I went to their site and tried to contact them to ask how to remove it, but guess what? The e-mail they provide to you is INVALID.
And I can't type up anything without a www into the address bar, otherwise it will take me to the damned dxcdirect.com and give me ads "relevant" to what I searched.

Would anybody be so kind as to help me get rid of this pest?
look in the processes section, by pressing ctrl+alt+del then click the process tab, and go through it and look to see if there's anything unfamilar or suspicious looking. And google it, like if there was trojan.exe, google trojan.exe and it should show you a way to get rid of it and what it is.
