I've been totally unable to use Byond at all, since yesterday. At first it was saying the Byond Hub wasn't accessible, after reinstalling and clearing my caches in both Byond and edge I've not even been able to log in, as it gets stuck on "Validating account...". Byond, Dream Seeker, Dream Daemon, and everything else in
Byond's bin folder has been whitelisted in my firewall, and I've tried pinging hub.byond.com and all pings are sent and received with no issue, so I've got no idea what I can do to fix this issue.
It sounds like you might have an issue between your ISP and the BYOND hub. Even though pings are getting through, perhaps regular connections aren't. You might consider a VPN.
Would there be any way to test if a VPN would work without spending money on one? Or barring that, are there any decent free VPNs you would recommend?
