It's also entirely possible BYOND won't continue to work for you in Windows 7, at least not for much longer. Once we move to WebView2 in 516, you're SOL. It's time to update.

I've moved this to BYOND help because it seems like an issue we can troubleshoot together.
It sounds like you updated your BYOND version and you can no longer run BYOND. The error message you posted sounds like you're missing DLLs.
You can find those DLLs by clicking the "you can download them from Microsoft" link here: https://www.byond.com/download/
Or, download them directly here: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
Once you download them, run them.
