:] I finially got around to getting Ubuntu onto a CD, and so far, I like it, even though the background looks eerily like the Mac OS, only orange instead of blue :o
So, do I have to run the install program, or can I add folders and files that will only be visable when I am running Linux?

Also, while I am searching Google, anybody want to post some good places to learning Linux and such?
You're only running the live CD right now, as soon as you restart the computer, anything you've done will be gone.

You have to run the install file to install Linux. Then you can start to do stuff.
Take a glance over at Linux guild.
It's pretty simple to install stuff on Linux, it's just different.
(Look around for Add / Remove Programs in your menus.)
Well, actually he can install a portion onto his hard drive that'll maintain itself if he wants to continue with the live CD. ;)
