Because he's sick of seeing posts singling out people so other people hate them!
The forum posts get picked up pretty quickly, but the blog posts remain. We can't block blogs, so yes, your material is public... And it's annoying! Sure, I could avoid it just as much as you could avoid posting it, but your content makes the member pages look bad by having BYOND-legal bashing on your blog.
So far, I've seen Jiskuha vs Ben, Cheetoz vs. Shades, and Smoko vs Kritical, more than one person vs JamesBurrow, and I'm pretty sure there were a few more. These ones annoyed me. Hedgemistress has one against Justin Knight, but she's more trying to voice her oppinion on the matter than rally people to call the person an idiot.
Please, people, just ignore them! Ignore them how I can't seem to ignore your posts! :P

Well said. The icon is hilarious :D
Perhaps a set of rules to prevent direct and outright insulting of another person or group shouldn't be allowed in blogs. Sure, they are there for the people to use at their leisure, but the forums are too, no? The blogs are definately more of a personal-level entry, but that doesn't mean entries insulting other people should be allowed. Then again, it would take staff to manage this, and quite a bit more considering the volume of posts that go into these blogs. Lose-lose situation I guess. | |

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. Although, I must admit, there are times...
[like today when I logged into this game and this poopster just started killing me over and over and over again, even though all I wanted to do was build a little something.. (sighs)] ...when I get the urge to tell the little poopie pests, "Enough already, poopiepest! Go poop on somebody your own size!" Yep, there was another one that annoyed me... Though, Xooxer's initial post didn't annoy me, for it had to do with his game being down, there was a few after that on other people's blogs that were like "OMG XOOXER YOU ARE JUST OVERREACTING TAKE THE HEAT OR GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN" kind of thing. Yah, I know they didn't type like that, but when I see those posts, that's what it makes me think of :P
