I'd love a custom class, and I wouldn't mind paying a bit more than $5 too.

Would it be possible to have some sort of template to work in? Limitations, basically. I was thinking of a shape shifter class, that would have different stages as the class upgrades.

ie; stage one is a snake, stage two is a large lizard, stage three is a dragon.

Transformations are definitely possible. I'm adding a whole slew (17) of new subscriber-only characters tonight, and among them is a vampire who can transform into a non-dense bat. Custom classes don't upgrade, though. You can't have one custom class, get a card, and upgrade to the next stage of your custom class. It could be possible to make it work through other means, like after killing X number of monsters you upgrade, but even that is a little iffy.

What I would suggest is that your class have three different things that it can transform into at any time. The first thing, a snake, is weak but you can stay in that form for a long time. The next form is the large lizard that is moderately strong, but you can't maintain the form for as long. The third form is a dragon that is very powerful, but you can only maintain the form very briefly.
