For a while I have been creating PSP games now and I find it much more complicated and fun as I can play my games where ever I go. Here are two pictures of Junk Metal PSP Online:

I pretty much just looked at my original source code and tried translating it so it would work on the PSP. As of right now the game is not finished and is likely never will be as I never do finish my games, but I decided to post it anyways. Junk Metal PSP Online currently is a side project of mine so please if you have a PSP do not ask to play this game. I dislike giving people unfinished games but look forward to a Maddness Ball PSP port and maybe a World Basketball Blitz League PSP port. My main game I am working on is a shooter for the PSP but it has gone through many changes so I do not have any pictures to show as of right now.

The original shooter was to be a game like Team Fortress Classic where you select your class from Recon Rick (super fast) to Tank (Heavy Gunner). But after playing with my game for a bit online with my brothers I do not know if I should make the game Deathmatch and Capture the Flag or more like The Specialist which is also a Half-Life mod. The Specialist is pretty much like the Matrix where you run off the walls and go in slow motion. I should have the final decision by tomorrow and maybe pictures also.

Here are some ideas for both style of game play:

Team Fortress Classic Style of game play:
In my game the game play would be Death Match and Capture the Flag,

-Recon Rick, you would have a small machine gun, a shotgun, a katana, and 5 grenades. The down side with the Recon is having low health, armor, and his weapons are not as strong.

-James The Snier, you would have a high powered sniper rifle, double barrled shotgun, a hunting knife, and 4 grenades. The down side with the sniper is he has low health and armor.

-Fat Man, the Fat Man is an expert with bombs, I currently do not have all of his info but I will post updates as they come. All I know is that his main weapon will be a RPG that also launches grenades, a weak pistol, and 10 grenades.

-Doc Bones, the Medic, will be semi fast and can make his enemies posioned with his needle. His main weapon will be a small machine gun, secondary will be a needle that can heal teamates or injure enemies, and he will have 3 grenades. His armor and health will also be weak.

-Tank, also known as Heavy Gunner, will have excellent health and armor, his weapons are a Heavy Machine Gun, Piston, and 3 grenades. His major down fall is that he is super slow.

-Engineer, no information.

The Specialist Style of gameplay:
In my game the classes will be the same as above but the game play will be different. Here is what the classes will also do if this is the selected game play,

-Recon Rick (Scout and is super fast), you would be able to run up the walls.

-Tank, you would be slow but have Heavy Machine Guns and can break through walls for a surprised entrance.

-James The Sniper would be able to make bullets coming towards him go into slow motion.

-Fat Man (Bomb Expert) could go and stop time around him for a while.

-Doc Bones (Medic) could do flips to dodge weapons attacks and bullets.

-Engineer (name soon to be changed), currently is being worked on.
Wouldn't the engineer beable to make his little sentry guns? And repair armor with a wrench.
How exactly do you write games for a PSP? I'm not savy in console game creation =(
Hey man! I deff. like team fortress classic man...Deff. make that...also with smart bots :D I need something to entertain me...Peace out
Leroyjinkins, yeah, all I know is that the Engineer will build sentry guns but I want more.

Tiberath, I create my PSP games with Lua or C. It depends on how big I want the game. If I want a huge online game then I will use C, but if I want just one vs one online I could use Lua.

Jello2005, I will have bots on my game also, I probally will have the bots finished before the online portion.
I hope you continue with your projects, I will probably get a PSP to do the same, since you can take it pretty much everywhere. The idea for your first person shooter is very good, and kind of unique. I mean, I did not play many like that. I hope to see more of it later :)
