movements abnormalities (everyone read this, yo)

So, I have ran into some moving abnormalities, Iain can't reproduce them, so, I'mma let the players do it!

Click once, wait half a second, click again but don't button smash. You'll get a fast slide-in every time you click it.
This method of walking seems to be faster for me, rather then holding.

To clarify, SSX is saying that he can walk faster by pressing the arrow key, waiting a fraction of a second, and then pressing it again, and repeating that. In all my tests, the fastest way to move is to hold down the arrow key. If you're experiencing behavior like SSX is describing, please tell me so I can get a handle on it. Thanks.
