This week we pretty much received confirmation that my iPod was indeed stolen. I can't reveal too many details because there's still an outside chance we may be able to catch the thief. Not that there's even the slightest remote chance that he or she would ever see this post (and therefore realize we know something), but why risk it? Maybe I had some reference to BYOND stored in a file somewhere on the iPod's drive, they saw it and came to byond.com, eventually finding their way to my Member site. I figure the sun's more likely to go supernova in the next 10 minutes, but given the extreme unlikely circumstances that led to this point, I can't count it out. I should be able to post full details in a few weeks. Then again, maybe even this is saying too much.
Anyway, we have a plan in place. It's time to wait and see. Regardless of the final outcome, I realize that my iPod is gone. Even if we get lucky and catch the bastard, it'll be already sold or hidden away somewhere. All I crave now is the satisfaction of seeing that jerk get fired and/or tossed in jail for a while. Can I at least have that?

I hope your that small 1-10% that get's it back. I don't know what it feels like to loose something that nice...but I do have an iPod and can imagine what it's like to loose it.

There have been so many stories of people losing their iPods. It is getting way out of hand. Last year, at the school I went to, there was a student who had over 140 iPods in his locker, all of which he stole and were selling them. He was caught and arrested that very day. Well, good luck and I hope you catch that pest!

At least you are sure it was stolen. I'm missing a Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and at least 4-5 games; but I know its my own fault but I can't find them for the life of me >_<

Good luck on the pod search. I try not to carry around toys of that value, but if I did, I would be asking everyone within a 10 mile radius if they had seen it. Once I finaly get my laptop, I will be carrying it around with me a good bit of the time, so I will have a $1,000-$2,000 toy with me, it won't leave my hands!
