I would like to purchase the BYOND Executable for my current game. How do I go about doing that?

Furthermore, is it possible to get support for Steam? I'm wondering how NESTalgia did it.
Howdy. I've explained what this tool is and how to get it before. Quoting from there:

The use of BYONDexe requires approval from Lummox JR, and with that approval comes a key that will let you create an EXE file with a specific project. If your game's hub listing status is set to "Published", you can send Lummox JR a BYOND pager message or send a direct e-mail to [email protected] for access.

If you have created a project that doesn't yet have a hub listing for it, go ahead and make one. Make sure it has a bit of art of the game, as well as a decent description and some fitting tags, and I or another moderator can set its status to "Published", at which point you can ask Lummox for a key to use BYONDexe.

You'll be happy to know there's no purchase necessary. :) You might be inclined to toss some bucks BYOND's way if you see some success off-platform, though.

As for interaction with Steam, you might be interested in this tutorial written by F0lak. If you run into problems, feel free to make a thread about them in the Developer Help forum.

Is ByondEXE a requirement to getting it running on Steam?

Thanks to your post, I published the game to the HUB. Just a waiting game now!
I went ahead and published your game. Congrats!

I do think having a built EXE is easier to publish to Steam with. It may not be required, but I am uncertain.
