A new Linux test build for map threading went out this week, and also a new test build for Windows with some recent changes to improve stability. The threading tests are maturing to the point where I don't think it'll be too much longer before I go ahead and make this official. More results are pending and I have a bug to fix in the Linux versions that I've been putting off because I hate Linux, but yeah, things are moving along.

While I'm waiting to see how that shakes out, I've been working on some miscellany, especially in the compiler. There was a feature request that I thought was worthy and had in an open tab for quite a while, and a pretty old bug report regarding #define behavior that was worth fixing properly.

That's sort of the lane I plan to stay in for a bit while this threading stuff finishes up, and I can get the planned external library support work in soon. I'd still like to have a clearer picture of how devs would want to work with data so I can support that better, though.

It's been a bit quiet lately, and nowhere is that more obvious than the fundometer. If you haven't hit that up yet, BYOND could use your support. And if you have, I thank you for helping keep the lights on.

We're coming up on the official unofficial start of summer. Hopefully we can put 515 to bed very soon and get on to even more new feature work after that. It ought to be eventful, but hopefully in a good way for once.
