I have just started getting back into byond and wanted to try and learn more about the coding instead of just a basic understanding of how things work, but when I go to test anything (I have recently started over on the reference page) the movement is faster than I care for. I have the movement size to be 32x32 because I like grid function, but when I go to move it often jumps up two spaces. I have the height of the sprite as a custom sprite different than 32 but the width is the same and it jumps 2 spaces in any direction on occasion is there some small codelet I can add to make it to where it requires you to hold the button for about 3 seconds or so before moving more than a single space.
P.S. if anyone has a better solution than my request please share.

You probably touched the fps/step_size. For more information, do view http://www.byond.com/forum/?post=117967
