I've been with byond since 2004 or 2006, this account was created in 2008. I was introduced to this team, byond, by my friend, Moskaum and I played a game called Naruto Sekai On, at that time, I performed the login through the IP + port. And I became interested in this language between the ages of 14 and 16, unfortunately my hours on the computer were limited by my parents, however I can say that from 18 to 20 years, I studied this language literally 13 hours a day, every day. Today I'm 29 years old and I don't care about anything, I'm working on my Naruto. Greetings to newbies, You can count on me, but don't expect me to be a genius.

Oh wow, something about this post hit me right in the nostalgia center.
In a way, BYOND is the reason I got into my current career. I registered my original account back in 2001, and it set me on a path of wanting to become a games developer. I eventually went to university to study programming, discovered I was terrible at it and ended up working in my current role as, essentially, a professional pixel artist. I work for a games studio based here in Scotland doing art, game design, writing narrative - just whatever the company needs me to do on any given day! And it all started because I found BYOND 22 years ago (!!!) Kinda crazy to think about, but I do look back fondly on the hours I spent as a kid messing around with DBZ code rips, making Super Metroid map remakes with terrible gameplay, and a bunch of original stuff too (honest!) led me to where I am today. Thank you, BYOND! |
