Stretch to remove black borders on mapscreen

Problem description:

Heyho!!

I'm back with another problem. I was wondering if there was a way to stretch my map or something so that I don't have the black borders on either side of the map screen. I'm not really looking for a fullscreen feature, more like stretching the icons so that it can fit my widescreen without have a black border on either side.

Let me know if you have the juice to help,

Set the map element's zoom level to 0 (stretch to fit) on the config tab, on the skin file.

You would need to set your map control's letterbox parameter to false. That should do what you want. If not, then you may need to compensate for the cropping that it will do.

Both of these answers sound useful. I've been sick with tonsilitis for 4 days so this is the first chance I've had to look at my replies.
