And any recommendations?
My Logitech one recently died, so I can't use it :(
Or rather, the receiver for it snapped and I was able to glue it (it was shared between two computers, now I don't really wanna take it out of the other one, the one I shared it with)... but to be honest I don't trust it in any of my USB ports.
More importantly I guess, are wired ones even still made? If so, are they cheaper?

You can easily find good Logitech wireless mice for about $25-$30 at most stores.

Really depends what you get the wirless logitech mouse i have came with a keyboard and it cost me 20$ and iv'e had it for 4 years.
placeses like bestbuy will have them high priced but online stores will be cheaper like dealextreme and amazon i got http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Desktop-MK320-Keyboard/dp/B003VAGXZC
this comes with keyboard and mouse same price as a mouse on the store. |
If you're into gaming, particularly First Person Shooter games, the latency on wireless mice will be very noticeable. So unless you get that Razor brand wireless mouse with the 1ms latency, you will want to stick with wired mice. I also highly recommend laser mice over optical mice since they work on just about any surface (I pity you if you have a glass desktop) and are more precise.
I would recommend Logitech for a good quality at a fair price. If you have the money to spare, you could always go for the "alienware of mice" Razor. But if you want a cheap mouse, Rosewill would fill that need. I myself just got a wired laser mouse from Rosewill and it even has a DPI toggle and forward/back buttons for browsers. It was $7 :) |
