Mac(10.6) Vs Centos

I Have Both A Mac Os x 10.6 Server

4gb(ram)

And Linux System (Centos)

4gb(ram)

Same Type Processor and Speed both Dual Core ( Intels )

On a Professional Opinion Which one would ( Host ) Multiple Byond Games + 1 Web Site The Best With The Least Lag.

Internet( Comcast Gamer Edition Speed)

( Don't Pick Linux Cause You Hate Mac Or Other Way Around )

Linux. With no GUI.
You might notice that BYOND doesn't generally keep its Mac OS version up to date very often.

Yes a linux with no GUI would be tons faster

but i only run Centos (5.4)

and it won't let me take off GNOME so it between

Centos (5.4 + Gui ) and Mac 10.6 Server

I'd say the linux distro because it requires less resources to run
So the majority of the power is going to job you've set it to do
