Unbuntu BYOND

How do I install BYOND onto Unbuntu Linux? Sorry I am new to Linux and I've been told Ubuntu is the best start. Thanks!

I don't think this belongs in Developer How-To, but more along the lines of Computers & Technology or even Community.

But, there's a Guild ( http://www.byond.com/members/LinuxGuild ) that appears to specialize in Linux OS and BYOND.

Keep in mind BYOND will probably not work very well in Linux, regardless of what you try.

Depends what you're after. I do all my reviewing for BYOND Anime on Wine.

Maybe you had better luck than me, or it's better now or something. When I tried a year and a half ago it barely functioned at all and usually lagged like crazy.

I believe one of the versions on the AppDB worked fairly well, then we introduced several regressions. Our bugs just recently got marked as "ABANDONED" because no one was upkeeping them sadly.
