I'd be thrilled to receive an invite if you have any extra left.
I believe you have my gmail address?

Submitted your invite. I'm pretty much out of invites now, but hopefully there will be more to go around.

'Win a Google Wave Invite' blogs and contests received some rather nice hits, so a 'create a nice game in a week and win a Google Wave invite' might have gotten some traffic. Though, I guess most serious developers had a sandbox account. |

Technically, I have two more. If someone came up with a fantastic idea, I could part with them, I just didn't want to give out all of mine to BYOND users, as I frequent many communities. Below is the Wave invite wave's contents. The problem with giving them away is that it isn't instant, and it is completely possible that the invites will do you no good(as in, it becomes public before they get around to sending the invite).
Invite others to Google Wave Google Wave is more fun when you have others to wave with, so please nominate people you would like to add. Keep in mind that this is a preview so it could be a bit rocky at times. Invitations will not be sent immediately. We have a lot of stamps to lick. Happy waving! |
I don't really understand why people are getting so excited about Wave. It's really nothing more then a glorified instant messenger. So it's even more confusing when people treat the wave invites like gold.

I don't really feel like explaining it but it is much more than a "glorified instant messenger". Something that I would very much like to try out. |

It's not an IM.
http://dbeta.com/pictures/screenshots/notim.png As for why people treat them like gold? Most don't, but people like new technology. And considering this is a community of programmers, we are all really interested in great feats of programming. And Wave is, despite being really buggy and pretty slow, a huge feat of programming. |

I wouldn't want to steal the invites from you and it would be slightly too late already. It would have been ideal if Tom/Dan/Lummox JR had gotten some developer accounts and then could have held some contest. 'Google Wave Invites' reached tremendous search scores :p |

Too bad Ryan. I looked online, I did some research, the idea of Google Wave doesn't impress me. So unless you can give me a reason why, go cry a river.

I'm also hoping on a Wave invite. If they've been delivered to inboxes, I've not gotten one yet. If anyone has any spare, I'd be appreciative of one.

Any chance for you to create sort of a 'BYOND' wave with all the folks you invited so that we could easily add each other? ;)

The "Big BYOND User's Wave" is for that. Feel free to add people or edit my list as you see fit. It is a "private" wave, but anyone can be added from your contacts list by clicking the + by the users list at the top of the wave.

Got mine today from DB, unfortunately it doesn't appear I have any invites to send out, sorry!
