US Military

Ryne Rekab	I was just curious if any BYOND members are currently in the US Military or plan to be soon. Personally, I leave in April for USAF BMT and was just wondering. Thanks.

I'd like to soon, since I can't seem to find a job otherwise. Called the Air Force recruiter's office a couple of weeks ago, apparently only one person in the office right now so he's kinda swamped. I was planning to join 5 years ago, but decided at the time that I wanted to try going to school full time and working part time. Didn't quite work out as intended (my fault), but oh well. =P
At least this way I can actually be a programmer as I've wanted to, and have most of the school paid for.

Also, April? Is that the soonest you can go or what? I'd like to get shipped out ASAP.

Ryne Rekab	Yeah, the Air Force has about at least a 3 month waiting list (DEP). I had to wait like 6, but I'm doing Pararescue (Air Force Special Ops). Only one person responded :( thanks!
