Front page rank, how does it work?

Do we know, partially or fully, how game rank on the front page is computed?

If i remember correctly, it's a combination of activity, fan count (which iirc also factors in how long ago the last fan was), and downloads.


I'm not entirely certain i'm remembering correctly though.
