They're all mostly fine, especially the first two.

If you don't know what ethical hacking is, look up "white hat hacker" on Wikipedia.

My understanding is this is under the control of Adsense itself, the host has some control over it, but it doesn't strike me as something BYOND should be concerned about. Not least considering the hassle that would become through setting a precident that BYOND should jump to removing any ad content that an individual may find personally inappropriate.
I'm sure BYOND wishes to avoid wholly inappropriate content such as porn adverts, but beyond that I recommend the rule of the internet applies, filtering occurs at the user's end. The top section you provided seems perfectly fine to me, and the bottom section isn't wholly offensive and can be found with a quick google, so I don't really see a major problem with it either. |
As others have said, those are all valid ads. "Ethical Hacking" or as it is more commonly know, White hat hacking, is a valid thing to know, and is actually a very valuble asset when looking for a job in a company for a tech position.
As for password cracking, I've known a lot of people who have forgot their password, but really needed back into Windows. As someone who works on computers daily, I can tell you that, while it shouldn't be so easy, it's really useful to be able to get around these passwords. Of course, anyone with Google can find a free way to reset or retrieve Window's password without any hassle. |
For anyone too lazy to look it up, ethical hacking is the act of someone deliberately attempting to compromise a server, usually for pay, hired by the company that owns the server. Their goal is to determine whether they are genuinely secure from external threats.
In short, you wouldn't market bulletproof armour that has never been tested by a bullet, and you wouldn't market hackproof servers that have never been tested by a hacker. |
