I was into Byond games back in the day, probably 2003-ish? Does anyone have a quick synopsis on what's become of Byond since then?

BYOND has actually grown a lot as an engine but the community is smaller than it once was. At one point we were trying to be too many things at once, including social media, and the social media aspect just didn't work.

The engine's technical abilities have exploded, though. Games look a lot better than they used to and you can do a lot more with them.
