I think he is trying to convey American Capitalism at its worst. He found a wagon on "clearance" but in actual fact it was relabeled $10 higher than it was worth.

Mr.Chex next time post this on you Blog remember to "talk about news and topics of interest to the whole BYOND community."

Or it could just be forum spam...
That's a hell of a lot of money for a child's wagon anyways...

What's wrong with capitalism? It has its flaws, but it works. If you do well in school you get into college and get a job, etc. (The major flaw is that people who work harder don't get payed more money.)

Nuts to that.

"I am a firm believer in luck, and I find that when I work harder I have more of it." --Benjamin Franklin

The problem with Western society in general (UK, USA, Canada, and most of Europe) is that our work ethic is going through the floor because people think, We'll earn just as much money whether we work hard or not. The harder you work, the better you make your company look and the more promotions and raises you receive. The catch, however, is that everyone has to work: a hard worker in a building full of slackers will accomplish nothing because he has to clean up everyone else's mess. That's why it's so frustrating.

The only thing which stands in denial of this is the megacorporation retail industry, which exploits its workers like there's no freaking tomorrow. =)

People born with natural talent don't have to try as hard, and people born into rich families might not even have to work at all for money.
I don't know how you get the idea that working harder causes you to make more, as it's entirely reliant on the situation and what you're working towards, especially if you add luck to the equation.
