Well, thanks in part to this post, I finally decided to renew my membership with what little money on paypal I had. Unfortunately despite having approximately $18.72, paypal says : "The amount of this transaction exceeds your remaining sending limit and cannot be processed at this time.
* You will need to add and confirm your bank account. Once your bank account has been added and confirmed, you can continue this payment. Add your bank account information below.
"
Anybody know what the problem is? 0_0

I would assume that this transaction exceeds your remaining sending limit and you need a bank account to continue.

So because they took some of my $20 leaving me with $18.72, I can't even pay for something that is only $18? That's pure bull. '-.-

Paypal no longer lets you send/spend money at all unless you have a bank account linked to your paypal account, they were probabaly tired of getting ripped off

I just signed up for paypal last week, they didn't mention that at all.
More likely, there is a limit to the amount of money you can transfer per given time period (probably a month). Until you "become a Verified member" by connecting your paypal account with a bank account, you are restricted. Helps prevent money laundering and what-not. |
