What grinds my gears is that...In classified ads if I've read correctly it clearly states "DO NOT make posts for projects which knowingly make use of copyrighted material or another person's intellectual property without their permission."

I am ratting no one out but...Several people still do it but when I posted about a game of another beings intellectual property (Yes I am moving that idea to wait for another game engine) but When I posted about it, it was removed without notice but I still see even more recently then mines ll over classified ads

"Help with an original Naruto game?"
"Staff for an original Naruto game?"
or
"I need staff for a Bleach game."
Okay but my point is, are you categorizing more
popular television shows as not intellectual property or ignoring it or you haven't gotten to it quite yet? I just want to know are they being ducked for a reason or did I go to and jump to conclusions or what?

There is nothing really to say but if you have a game bassed off of a copyrighted idea, don't mention that idea or else that post will get deleted.

I understand that but why is it that other people do it and have gone without punishment but I've?

It is possible that when skimming through, they might have skipped it. They are not out just to get you, but to get people who post things dealing with copyrighted material. Also trust me, there have been a ton of deleted post due to this new rule.

If the mods see them, they die. Period.

If you see obvious infringements that haven't been deleted, its because no moderators have been online to delete them since they were posted, or because they're really old.
They do it because they love you. :D

OR that there is some corruption going on here >:-]

I really don't like the sound of that inferrence.

The forum moderators don't have time to be corrupted. Between managing the forums and organising goons, there's just no free time.

It may be that when we see a 'Bleach' ad, we first think 'oh, what a novel idea! A washing-detergent version of Burger Time!' and pass it over for more obvious violators.

Eventually we are like Pokemon masters, and catch them all. Just depends on the coverage. What you are seeing is the roughly 5% of all such posts that slip past our guard. Nothing personal.

Yeah, finding needles in haystacks (as is the common analogy) isn't the easiest task unless the needle broadcasts itself. That said, it is obviously be easier for moderators to delete posts with topics such as "for Naruto game" or whatever, rather than the ones that say "for RPG," since one has to read the latter post to see if it is in violation, but the former is basically waving a "Delete me!" banner.
