Okay, its plaguing me because it ruins my byond experience but when I click, it has this nasty habit of clicking twice per click. How do I fix it?

Actually, you would want to decrease it, right? He would want to make it so he has to click faster for it to be counted as a double click. Smaller delay means faster clicking, unless I am visualizing it.
But any way you slice it, that would be unlikely to solve the problem for long. Assuming he is really double clicking, not just accidentally dropping his finger the second time. If he is really double clicking, than he will likely get used to the increased speed needed to double click on his system, thus killing the benefit. The only real solution is to stop double clicking. I realize this is probably a lot easier said than done, but it's about all that can be done. I suppose someone could create a game to train his mind to single click and double click in the right times, but I honestly don't think things like this work. |
Well actually, Ive gone into the mouse settings and set the delay both as high and as low as it can be and neither of them seem to make any difference. The thing is I am not actually double clicking. I am clicking once and even if I hold it for a few seconds before releasing it, it still double clicks. I think it might be something about my mouse button because my right button doesnt do it. I guess all those late nights of playing first person shooters could finally be taking its toll lol

Now increase your double-click delay.
