Playing what? BYOND? If so, it's not possible.
|
Smoko errm you kinda wrong on that one =/. The Fact is any device that allows a remote desktop can use byond. :D.
This is a rough guide i would have more detail if i had a psp =/. 1) Setup your Computer To become a remote desktop 2) Install PSPVNC 1.1.2 Remote Desktop on PSP 3) Make a Connection 4) Open byond via the PSP 5) Enjoy :D. Note: This would probably suit chat programs as regular games would be a pain in the ass. Also you are going to need really good internet or it may be super slow. Click here and here -Genjura |
No, I'm right. You're not playing it on your PSP, you're playing it on your computer and using your PSP as a controller.
|
What's wrong with it? Multiple things.
Remote Desktops tend to be sluggish, and aren't very good at displaying moving images. This would be worse if you were trying to connect from an external network. You'd need a way to connect to your computer when ever you wanted to use BYOND, which may not be possible using a wifi hotspot. |

I said it would be a pain in the ass(slow =/) Smoko : "You'd need a way to connect to your computer when ever you wanted to use BYOND, which may not be possible using a wifi hotspot." Just make your car an access point. -Genjura |
Using your car as a hotspot would require another internet connection or two modems. That would be quite costly, making it not worth it.
That is of course, assuming that the topic creator actually has a car to do this with. |
"Playing what? BYOND? If so, it's not possible."
I just wanted to say it is possible to "play" byond on PSP. No matter how impractical it is =/. -Genjura |
You'd need a remote desktop client for your DS. I don't know if there's one available, but you can look around.
|
There is a VNC client for the DS. It's a homebrew app. It worked decent but quite slow last time I tried, but some time has pasted, it's likely a lot better now. As a proof of concept it was impressive. The use of the bottom screen to set your magnifier worked pretty good. The top screen was zoomed in. So between the two you could clearly read any text, and by swapping them you could drag windows around and whatnot.
